Basic Info
Name:pansy_pugface
Birthdate:1980-04-17
Bio
Name: Pansy Federicka Parkinson
Age: 20
Former House/Bloodline: Slytherin/ pureblood
Date/place of birth: 17 April, 1980/ Manchester, England
Physical features: Pansy has an upturned nose, dark fringe and blue eyes- from her mother, of course. Her features are both sharp and slightly too small for her face, and her mouth is often twisted into a sneer. She’s of average height, perhaps a little thinner than most, but despite her many efforts, never quite pretty enough. She does what she can with her knowledge of cosmetic charms and a never-ending supply of Sleekeazy’s.
Occupation: Gossip columnist for Witch Weekly
Hobbies/what they do in their spare time: Bubble baths, trying out new charms and spells, spending time with her friends, staying out too late.

Wand: 9 inch Ash, Unicorn hair core
Boggart: An inferius
Patronus: A duck, to her complete and utter horror.

Likes: Her job (sometimes), chocolates, pink, new dress robes, compliments, French perfumes, lace, gossip, Sleekeazy’s Hair Potion, parties, good jokes.
Dislikes: Being ignored, not getting her way, getting dirty, spiders, the month of August (too hot).
Personality in three words: Spoiled, loud, opportunist.
Where they are/where they want to be: Pansy is not satisfied with the current state of things… but finds herself incapable of reaching the goals that have been set for her since birth. She is not married. Her family's reputation is in question. Everything is all wrong...

Father: Theodorus Parkinson
Mother: Josephine Parkinson nee Moore
Siblings: None
Friends: Pansy has many friends, but only a few that she truly cares about and would go out of her way to protect. Tracey Davis, Daphne Greengrass and Draco Malfoy are among them, along with some others... and maybe Luna Lovegood. Pansy still isn’t sure about her.
Spouse/Lover: None worth mentioning?
Sexual orientation/what attracts them: Heterosexual/ Pansy likes quick-witted leaders. Aggressive men that she can either fawn over or argue with.
Children - have any? want any?: She doesn't have any and doesn't really think about them except for that it will most likely be necessary to provide her future husband an heir.

Backstory/History - aka, where they have been between DH and Ascendant, and beyond:

Pansy raised a shaking arm and screamed, “But he’s there! Potter’s there! Someone grab him!”

“Thank you, Miss Parkinson,” said Professor McGonagall in a clipped voice. “You will leave the Hall first with Mr. Filch. If the rest of your house will follow.”

Who was Harry Potter to Pansy? The-Boy-Who-Lived, the undeserving Saint Scarhead, the reason why Draco was out there fighting, the reason why she was sitting in the Great Hall in her pajamas with a bunch of frightened children… No. She wouldn’t risk her own life, the lives of people she actually cared about, for stupid Potter. She stood up and walked silently out of the Hall, unrepentant. She was not surprised when the majority of her House followed. Then most of Ravenclaw. Less of Hufflepuff, but they’d never been the sharpest wands in the shop. Once everyone was far enough out of the way to be safe, Pansy considered her Head Girl duties officially fulfilled. She sneaked off in search of Draco, determined to steal him away from the action even if she had to stun him to do it. People were fighting- falling- everywhere, but try as she might, she couldn't find Draco. Not before Professor Snape spotted her and ordered her to leave. She doesn’t like to think about that night, really.

The next day, everything was different. Her father had been killed- one of many- in the chaos directly after the Dark Lord’s fall. She wasn’t welcome at Hogwarts anymore, she understood with a sad sort of awareness. She’d picked the wrong side. Funny, because the only side she’d ever really been on was Draco’s. It didn’t matter, she wouldn’t have gone back anyway. How could she finish school, when everything she’d ever known had fallen out around her?

Under the advisement of her grandparents, she studied privately for her NEWT exams and did moderately well. She hasn't accomplished a lot in the last two years, but every small development has been painfully arduous, in her opinion. She’s found a job, at least, and learned how to cook pasta without setting the kitchen on fire. Growing up has been harder on Pansy than most, as she'd been spoiled so dreadfully as a little girl. Pansy never gave her future much serious thought. It was just assumed that she would get married, have children, let the House Elves raise them... in short, be just like her mother. Even though marriage based on blood purity and social standing is outwardly considered taboo these days, there are still a few wizarding families that quietly abide by the old rules, and Pansy firmly believes that things will go back to normal any day now...

How the war affected them:
Pansy would be quick to tell you about how things were better off before the Second War, when heritage and social standing actually meant something. She is particularly annoyed with the Ministry, as in their post-war investigations, they have insisted on prolongedly examining her family for hints of prior Death Eater activity. The fall of the Dark Lord cost her everything, and even though she's finally beginning to adjust and rebuild, she doesn't forget.
